Magnum wine bar | about us

about us

Magnum Wine Bar opened in Moscow in January 2017 and from the very first days set a new standard for wine culture in the city. This intimate bar was conceived as a place where wine becomes not only a drink, but also a reason - for a meeting, conversation, gastronomic pleasure. There is no pathos here, only sincere attention to the guest, the atmosphere and quality.

The interior of Magnum is vintage elegance without excesses: warm natural tones, soft leather chairs, a semicircular tin bar counter brought from the French Lyon, mosaic tiles on the floor, wine cabinets with lighting and subdued lighting. Everything is arranged so that nothing distracts from the main thing - taste. The bar is designed for a limited number of guests, which maintains coziness and intimacy, and every evening is perceived as a personal invitation.

The wine list is a special pride of Magnum. It is not just extensive, but thought out to the smallest detail: it contains wines from various corners of the world, including both recognized classics and rare finds from small farms. Many items can be tasted by the glass, which makes Magnum especially attractive to those who like to discover new things. Over the years, the bar has received international awards, including the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and the World of Fine Wine award, as well as recognition from Russian professional communities.

In addition to the wine list, Magnum values gastronomy and the event component. Thematic evenings, wine dinners, educational lectures and, of course, tastings are held here. The summer veranda turns Magnum into an ideal French café in the warm season, and signature cocktails and light dishes make every visit varied.

Today, Magnum Wine Bar is not just a wine bar, but a space with character. Connoisseurs and beginners, sommeliers and artists, couples on their first date and old friends meet here. This is a place where you want to return for your favorite glass, a new emotion and that very atmosphere that is so difficult to explain in words, but easy to recognize the first time.
